Roles:
- A Junior Manual QA Tester is responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards. They identify bugs, document issues, and collaborate with development teams to enhance product performance.
Responsibilities:
- Test Execution: Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on web and mobile applications.
- Test Case Development: Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts based on requirements.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
- Re-Testing: Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing to ensure issue resolution.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with testing standards, processes, and best practices.
- Test Documentation: Maintain and update test documentation and reports.
Requirements:
- Experience: 0-2 years in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases.
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Knowledge of API testing, database testing, and cross-browser testing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
