Job description
About the Role: The role involves:
- Monitoring of concurrent audit firms to ensure quality in audit report and closure with respect to timelines,
coverage and compliance.
- Performance review of audit firms on a regular basis and taking action basis review result as defined in the policy.
- Ongoing engagement with various internal stakeholders and external audit firms on data requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring desired infra / tools are available with auditors for smooth execution of audits.
- Handholding of newly appointed auditor in the respective region.
- Quality in coverage of audit conducted by audit firms.
- Timely Submission of data / information for onward reporting to Regulators, Audit Committee, Senior Management, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with Internal and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective follow up and escalations to ensure concurrent audit appointments are completed on time.
- Ensuring Performance review of audit firms on a regular basis and taking action basis review result as defined in the policy.
- Preparing and maintaining various dashboards, tracker, correspondence, records etc.
- Ongoing correspondence with various internal stakeholders / external audit firms /ICAI / others on data requirements.
Qualifications:Education / Qualification:
- Overall experience in Banking industry
- Graduates / Post Graduate
Role Proficiencies:
- Effective Knowledge of Branch Banking & Operations
- Good communication (both verbal & written) and inter-personal skills
- Strong Excel skills, financial and statistical analysis skills
- Ability to work effectively across functions and demonstrate ability to coach and mentor others
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals
