Job description
Dcloudsolutions is hiring for the role of Alation Developer!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Alation.
- Design and implement data pipelines for ingesting and processing data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Build and optimize data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Implement and maintain security best practices in data processing and storage.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code following coding standards.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of data catalog applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize data processing and storage components.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with version control systems (snowflake).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Comfortable working in a remote team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of cloud platform - AWS
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with data visualization tools Snowflake Talend
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
